"Deaf President Named," the selection of Gallaudet University President I. King Jordan was a joyous event for the campus community, which had long sought a deaf university president for the college.
In addition to Jordan's appointment, Gallaudet University Board of Trustees member Phillip W. Bravin, one of four deaf board members, was selected to replace Chair Jane Bassett Spilman. Spilman resigned from her position after criticism from protestors. According to Bravin, the trustees will establish a committee to ensure that the board has a majority of deaf members. Bravin also said that none of the demonstrators will be penalized for participating in the protest.
Jordan had at one point during the protest supported the selection of Elizabeth Ann Zinser, a hearing woman originally chosen by the Board of Trustees as Gallaudet University President. However, Jordan reversed his position the next day in support of the protest.

would you like to visit Mars in the future ?

I would like to visit Mars in the future because, Many scientists believe that in the near future, humans may be able to leave Earth to live on Mars. If you decide that you might like to be among those to take part in this great adventure, there are a few things you might want to know . . .
On Mars, you'll get extra time in the day to do the things you want to do--like sleep in! Martian days are about half an hour longer than Earth days. But that's nothing compared to the extra time you'll get in a year--687 days versus only 365 days on Earth.
Before you leave Earth, be sure to pack a lot of soap and laundry detergent. The "Red Planet" gets its nickname for the fine, red dust that covers Mars' surface. It wouldn't be so bad if the dust just settled on the ground, then only your shoes would get ruined. The problem is that frequent and intense dust storms big enough to cover the entire planet can throw dust up to 25 miles into the air and last for months at a time--you're definitely going to get dirty!
Mars has some great scenery! While you're there, be sure to check out the volcano, Olympus Mons, the biggest mountain in the entire solar system. Its base is large enough to cover the entire state of Montana and Rhode Island could fit comfortably in its crater! It is thought that some of Mars' giant canyons and other surface features were formed from water flowing over the surface a long time ago when Mars was much warmer and may have supported life. Another bonus of Martian scenery: two moons in the nighttime sky--Phobos and Deimos.

Because Mars is located farther from the Sun than Earth, it will be a lot colder there. The average temperature on Mars is -63oF. That's about 120oF colder than on Earth! The extra distance will also make the Sun look much smaller in the sky than it does from Earth. But don't let the smaller-looking Sun and cold temperatures fool you! Mars lacks the protective ozone layer we have in Earth's atmosphere, so you're much more likely to be severely sunburned there. So take some serious sunscreen--like SPF 1000!!

Mars' cold temperatures might also cause you to think that the white flakes you see falling down around you and on the mountain tops are snowflakes, but they're actually crystals of frozen carbon dioxide (also known as "dry ice"). If fact, the Martian atmosphere is mostly carbon dioxide, so I guess you'll want to pack plenty of oxygen too!

3- what personal qualities make someone a good role model?
Role models come into young people’s lives in a variety of ways. We are educators, civic leaders, mothers, fathers, clergy, peers, and ordinary people encountered in everyday life. This study showed that being a role model is not constrained to those with fancy titles or personal wealth.  In fact, students were quick to state that “a true role model is not the person with the best job title, the most responsibility, or the greatest fame to his or her name.” Anyone can inspire a child to achieve their potential in life.Role models live their values in the world. Children admire people who act in ways that support their beliefs.  It helps us understand how our own values are part of who they are and how we might seek fulfilling roles as adults. For example, students spoke of many people who supported causes from education to poverty to the environment.  Role models helped these students understand the underlying values that motivated people to become advocates for social change and innovation.Washington once said, “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which one has overcome.” Young people echoed this sentiment, showing how they developed the skills and abilities of initiative when they learned to overcome obstacles.  Not surprisingly, they admire people who show them that success is possible.

In the 21st century, we started to use a lot of fusel fuel and that will make a huge impact on the world economy  when we run out of fuel. We have another alternative which is fusion. it is much safer, affordable, does not take a lot of space, and it is a green type of energy. If we continue to use the fusel fuel we will destroy earth. We should use fusion to save energy sources and our earth from pollution, because fusion does not use any carbon so, it will not to damage the atmosphere. Fusion can be made in a high temperature between 2 isotopes . After that, the strong force gathers the two isotopes and then releases energy for a long time.

Enthusiastic Development in People

Enthusiastic means having or showing intense and eager enjoyment, interest, or approval. First, some people are more enthusiastic than other people. Some people have more dopamine than others. Dopamine is a hormone and neurotransmitter of the catecholamine and phenethylamine families that plays a number of important roles in the human brain and body. Some people don’t have a lot of pressure. People born with a certain genes are more likely to become more enthusiastic, but there are a lot of ways to develop your enthusiasm. Being grateful is one of the ways that I build my enthusiasm with my life as I always remind myself everything that life has given me. I express gratitude and it is very easy to forget about all the little things that make our life easier and comfortable. Remember all the good things that you have going on in your life and be grateful for being who you are today. This is a wonderful method to create powerful enthusiasm in your life. Be positive, enthusiasm cannot survive in a negative environment. Be creative, you can never have enough creativity. Enthusiasm generates creativity and creativity triggers enthusiasm. I’m an enthusiastic person because I’m interested in life.  I believe in God and I think he has a purpose to let us live on Earth. In conclusion, life is short and we all are going to die one day, so why be sad? There is always a light in the end of the tunnel and remember God did not make you sad, he wants you to be happy.

A company named Gladtime Dairy is located in Pima, Arizona.  In 2012, the owner’s of the farm, Scot Edwards and Bill Underwood, invested in a hydroponic fodder system manufactured by a company named FarmTek.  Hydroponic fodder systems where invented in Australia.  First seed are placed evenly on trays.  Water is supplied on one end and runs down the trays passing through the seeds. Seven days later, sprouts shoot up with a mat of roots underneath.  The fodder is rolled up and harvested, then feed to the livestock.  This particular system cost the farmers $50,000 dollars to grow 4,000 lbs of fodder every day.  This much fodder can enough feed for their livestock.  This system allows them to feed each of their cattle for $2.50 to $3.00 each cow.  This is cheaper than buying hay from others farms.  The cow’s digest 87% of the fodder. This makes the cows healthier and more resistant to diseases. It takes up less space to grow the fodder on racks indoors than it takes for fodder grown outdoors in soil.  It also takes a lot of work for a person to operate the fodder system.  The grower of the fodder needs to protect the fodder from molds, disease, and pests. If done correct, this system can really benefit the farm.  These systems are becoming more popular throughout the United States as an alternative for livestock feed.

Stephen Hawking: Questioning the universe

Stephen Hawking is  the former Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge and author of A Brief History of Time .I have seen and read his researches online and I liked how the way he thinks and although his disability and he continued , which proves that the older or the disability is a state of mind. He asked some Big Questions about our universe, How did the universe begin? How did life begin? Are we alone? Is there alien life out there? What is the future of the human race?. he said that there is nothing older or bigger than the universe, and the universe is changing in time and separating.  He also discussed the big bang and what is before the big bang . Have you ever thought which came first the chicken or the egg?? . and he said The universe can spontaneously create itself out of nothing. if we were the only intelligent being in the galaxy we should make sure that we survive . if we want to continue beyond the next hundred years, our future is in space. In conclusion, the universe is easy we just have to understand it ,because the world have not   changed . we are changing the world , destroying , cutting , burning, and digging in the earth because of greed .

Why is learning English difficult for you?

English is difficult for me because it is a foreign language. It could be hard for other language speakers to learn English because some letters are not present in the language that person speaks. Listening, speaking, reading, writing, and vocabulary are the most common struggles new English speakers find. To try and prevent this from happening, try to develop yourself  by studying English more often, reading books to develop your reading as well as writing skills and to add more words into your vocabulary. Try watching a lot of English movies if you are not into books, reading or exploring. Another tool is to surf the Web for online words game and try making words from letters on the board! What I do to improve my English is to choose a new word that I do not know from the dictionary and then type it in my keyboard and try to learn the meaning, the part of speech, and the definition then I’ll try to use the word in my day. In conclusion, the only thing you need to do to face these struggles in learning a new language is to keep studying hard for it. For example, I have studied English language in the British Council and overall,  I payed so much money to learn English. I made an effort and I encouraged myself to learn English back home and I realized that if you want to learn a new language you should go the place where they speak it because it will be much easier to practice the language more often and learn about the culture because every language has it’s own story, tradition, and their own ways. Eventually you will reach what you have been working hard for.
